Why We Built This Site
Louisiana gives the public broad access to court and law-enforcement records, but access is not the hard part. The hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you need. A warrant is not one record in one building. The court that issues it sets the charge and any bail condition, the sheriff serves it and can say whether it is still open, and a town or justice of the peace court may hold a process that never reaches the parish system at all.
Guessing wrong is easy and costly. Someone calls the sheriff about a town ticket, or checks a jail roster and concludes there is no case, or pays a fine expecting the warrant to disappear. Each of those mistakes comes from the same gap: no map of who holds what. This site is that map for East Feliciana Parish, with the public phone numbers, addresses, fee schedules, and request routes that the agencies themselves publish.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant lookups: how a warrant lookup works through the Clerk's docket, the sheriff's phone lines, and the court that issued the process
- Open cases: how outstanding warrants are tracked here and why no public parish list exists
- Missed appearances: how bench warrants arise under state law and which court holds them
- Charges and custody: how arrest warrants are issued on probable cause and served
- Traffic matters: how a traffic warrant follows an unpaid or missed citation
- City courts: how a municipal warrant stays with the town that issued it
- Public programs: how the regional most wanted tip channel works, described and linked rather than copied
- Local context: the courthouse cluster in Clinton, the four justice of the peace districts, and the five incorporated towns
What We Cannot Do
We are a private reference site. We are not a court, a sheriff's office, or any government agency, and we hold no warrant records of our own.
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant, post bond, or arrange a surrender
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a charge, bond, or court date applies to a specific situation
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or office detail on this site is current at the moment you read it
Only the court that issued the process, or the sheriff's office that holds or serves it, can confirm whether a warrant is active and whether it has been recalled.
Search Partners
Search boxes on this site are provided by third-party companies. Those companies set their own prices and run their own services, and we may receive a referral fee when a visit leads to a paid signup. That revenue keeps the site available at no cost to readers. We do not control their charges, their data, or what their results contain, and their results are not an official warrant check.
